Shayaan joined Slate in 2022. She is involved with the firm’s various corporate, securities, and transactional matters. She has experience in the financial, wealth management, and resource industries, serving in a legal and compliance capacity.

Prior to Slate, Shayaan was a Law Clerk for Osisko Mining Inc., providing support to numerous public affiliated group companies and private subsidiaries. Before joining Osisko Mining, Shayaan was a Corporate Law Clerk for McCarthy Tétrault LLP, in which she assisted clients in various areas of corporate and business law.

Shayaan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, and a Graduate Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Fanshawe College. She became licensed with the Law Society of Ontario in 2015.
